What kind of text is in your manuscript?

No special design elements, just standard text

Large photos, drawings, illustrations, or other images that extend off the edges of the page and/or across the gutter of the book

Do you use tables, charts, or graphs?

Columns and rows of data that fit on a single page and incorporate no special layout

Columns and rows of data that extend beyond a single page and/or that incorporate special layout, such as split or merged cells, wrapped text, and unusual alignment

Visual representations of data, such as pie charts, bar graphs, and line graphs. Charts and graphs must be submitted as basic images.

Do you have custom design needs?

Highly visual, graphics-heavy books have special design needs and require custom design quotes. Art books, children's picture books, and photography books are included in this category. Books with custom design needs—for example, a series design or custom-created tools or graphics like worksheets or data visualizations—are also included in this category.
