The Bachelorette alum Hannah Brown will make her fiction debut next year with a romance novel, with another one coming in 2025, Variety reports.
Brown signed a deal for two novels with Grand Central imprint Forever, which specializes in “inclusive commercial fiction and romance.”
Brown, an Alabama native, participated in beauty pageants for years before appearing as a contestant on the reality show The Bachelor in 2018. She was the star of The Bachelorette’s 15th season in 2019 and later appeared on the shows Dancing With the Stars and Special Forces: World's Toughest Test.
Brown’s first romance novel, Mistakes We Never Made, will follow Emma and Finn, two longtime rivals who encounter each other again at a wedding, where they are asked to recover a runaway bride. The novel “reminds us it’s never too late to risk falling in love, because being true to your heart is never a mistake,” Forever says.
“Reading novels has always been a favorite pastime of mine ever since I was a little girl, so this opportunity is truly a dream come true,” Brown said in a statement. “While this is fiction, I drew a lot of inspiration from my own life and experiences, which is fun for me to see sprinkled throughout the series.”
Mistakes We Never Made is slated for publication on May 7, 2024.
